Dictionary synonyms: still in existence, surviving, abiding, enduring, alive! 

Religious life as we have all known it is in transition in a big way. All congregations and communities are shrinking. The number of vocations has dropped significantly. There are some who think religious life could die out altogether. We don't know what the future holds. But we do know God is calling and we are choosing to answer. As a community we are abiding, enduring and alive!
