The Benedictine Sisters of Mother of God Monastery are excited to share that there is much happening here at Harmony Hill. We are now dedicating ourselves and our mission work to the success of The Village of Harmony Hill, a state-of-the-art facility for Assisted Living and Memory Care.
To contribute to The Village of Harmony Hill, please click here. This unique senior living campus is pivotal to meeting the healthcare needs of the Sisters, this region, and beyond—but we need your support to make this vision a reality! The mission of The Village is to offer a variety of independent living opportunities, as well as state-of-the-art services for rehabilitation, assisted living, memory care, and hospice care.
This Village will serve both our own needs as we age and be an option for anyone in the community in need of these types of services. We are grateful to be able to continue our ministry and mission work through high quality, dignified care for seniors.
As a result of this change in the focus of our mission work, the Benedictine Sisters Foundation of Watertown has dissolved. According to the bylaws of the Foundation, all unrestricted assets in the Foundation have transferred to the Mother of God Monastery and will be used for their intent, to enhance the sisters’ mission and ministries.
If you have donated to the Foundation in the past, thank you! If you wish to continue to support the Benedictine Sisters, consider making a gift to The Village. The Village of Harmony Hill is also a charitable, tax-exempt corporation. To contribute to other ministries of the sisters, you may still send a check payable to Mother of God Monastery at 110 28th Ave SE, Watertown, SD 57201.
